Okay. The One Movie That’s Stayed With Me. Tonight. Yes tonight, I’ve just found where I’ve been hiding it on my shelves. The Movie? River Street Starring Aden Young & Bill Hunter and directed by Tony Mahood. I’ve reviewed it twice for The Movie Boards once in 2019 and originally 2017. For the record, even though I’ve adopted streaming services I’m the kind of relic who won’t be able to give up his physical media. My DVD collection is bigger than I care to admit to and even though i can no longer play them I’ve still got my VHS collection. River Street was released sometime around 1996 – 1997 and I’m pretty sure I didn’t find it until about the year 2000. Where? The Video EZY in Green Square, Kingston. Now, as I see it, when you get down to River Street is about, what you want out of life might not always be what you need out of life, that really good friends will be with you no matter what and when you find what you need out of life. There’s a chance you’ll find it in the most strangest place. Now, what about this movie has stuck with me for the past twenty years? The final lines of the movie:
