September is Bourbon Heritage Month

September is Bourbon Heritage Month, an occasion that was founded to celebrate America’s ‘Native Spirit’. The month is widely observed in America, and this year the ‘Cheers! Spirits from the USA’ campaign – which is sponsored by the Distilled Spirits Council of the U.S. (DISCUS) and supported by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) – is bringing a series of virtual experiences to life for Australian adult-consumers to enjoy. On the series, Charles McEntee, Director of Export Promotion for DISCUS says, “Australian adult consumers have an affinity for Bourbon.  In fact, Australia is the third-largest export for U.S distilled spirits in general. Whether you are a Bourbon enthusiast, or just someone who is interested in learning more about the spirit, these weekly events will educate and entertain you – especially if you’re in lockdown!”
Mr. McEntee said that the series will be focused on highlighting the versatility and quality of Bourbon and will be hosted alongside some of the world’s most iconic Bourbon brands including, Woodford Reserve and Wild Turkey.

The weekly schedule for these bespoke Bourbon-centric events is:
