A Hollywood fixer in the 1950s works to keep the studio’s stars in line.

Hail Caesar! Was a good way to relax after a pain in the ass moment involving the wheelchair lift on my car.
I know I might be being a little cynical here but for me this was not a lot of laugh out loud moments but that being after watching this I was left with nice warm and fuzzy kind of feeling while also feeling a little sympathetic for Josh Brolin’s character whose job seemed as if it was about as easy as herding a clowder of cats.
There was an amazingly brilliant (insert a list of adjectives at length appropriate for you here should you so desire) cast but I was impressed with the Cohen brothers use of Michael Gambon, whose narration this extra depth to Hail Caesar! that came across as a movie within a movie. Channing Tatum had a great song and dance number and there was a side to Scarlett Johansson performance that I don’t think that I have previously seen in any of her other movies.
