Hobbs has Dom and Brian reassemble their crew in order to take down a mastermind who commands an organization of mercenary drivers across 12 countries. Payment? Full pardons for them all.

Okay, the sixth film of the franchise is finally in the bag and the question of the franchise’s slightly disjointed timeline has finally been put to rest, for those of you who have yet to see any of the movies, the events of the third movie Tokyo drift occur after the events portrayed in furious 6.
With furious 6, the fast and the furious franchise has solid action series. These movies will probably never be considered cinematic masterpieces but with a level insanity that has possibly only been out done by the Blues Brothers franchise, who really cares? The Fast and the Furious franchise will always be a Friday night beer and pizza favourite.
It was good to see that the franchise has a sense of director continuity with Justin Lin being in the director’s chair for four movies. Admittedly I have previously stated that Justin Lin could not direct his way out of a wet paper bag, however over the course of the fast and furious movies that he has director, he has managed to win me over with his abilities as a director.
