Congratulations Mr John Hyams with your past two Universal Soldier movies you have successfully managed to kill off the Universal Soldier franchise. Though I suppose to be really truthful you put more dirt on the franchise’s grave and tamp it down. Now the question on the table is have you realised what you have managed to do. It also seemed that writers thought that exposition was a dirty word. No effort was made to successfully set up the universe that Hyams was playing in . Looking back over the entire franchise, I suppose that not is entirely your fault considering that there has been no clear identity for the entire six films of the franchise. For those of you who might have been wondering two of those films are not regarded as ‘cannon’.
