Half a buck.
If you have ever wondered how profitable www.themovieboards.net is, well now I have told you. About 6 years (more likely 10 years) of inconsistent work has resulted in me making about 50 cents. And to be honest, I am pretty sure I don’t care. I know I should, but right now (2 AM January 1st 2013) I do not care). Now do not mistake this for a New Year’s resolution because I am not making one, I would like to think that right now I am just holding it out there in the breeze and seeing what the hell happens.
Originally when I first started the first incarnation of The Movie Boards I was doing it for the movies that I was watching at the time, ten years later I would still like to think that is the reason why I am doing this.
I would like to think that my opinion of movies has afforded me some degree of influence. If you agree with me great, If you have an opinion of your own about a movie or if you think that I am full of shit, send me your movie reviews. Just remember to score your movie reviews out of 6.
With the New Year upon us I will keep going with www.themovieboards.net no matter what.
By 2014 I would like two things to have happened:
1) That I have done enough work to have attracted over 100,000 visitors.
2) That the 50 cents that The Movie Boards has made has turned into a buck.
