Bond’s loyalty to M is tested as her past comes back to haunt her, bringing MI6 under attack

Finally I have gotten a chance to get off my and ass and see Skyfall, I know what you might think about the fact that it took me so long to watch this one, but hey gimme a break I got around to it (eventually).

As expected Skyfall follows the franchise formula ( I was very impressed with the fact that in its fiftieth anniversary Skyfall saluted its origins) and it also has the similar Dr. No simplicity that the previous Daniel Craig films. However, unfortunately unlike the majority of the films in the franchise this had a completely different pace to what I was expecting and did not come across as being sexy loud action movie. The dynamic between Bardem’s brilliantly psychotic villain and M was brilliant and it was magnificent move that this past relationship was pretty much the catalyst for the entire plot.

If memory serves that, the back-story that was revealed about James was at least eluded to in 1995 release Goldeneye by Alec Trevelyan
