I have always been a fan of Westerns and probably always will be, the depressing thing is that the release of westerns seems to becoming increasingly infrequent.Blackthorne is a brilliant piece of speculative history posing the question what if Butch Cassidy survived the shootout with the Bolivian Militia? Sam Shepard gave a brilliant performance and seemed to bring the same kind of roguish quality that he seems to bring to most of his roles.
