The Golden Ticket Hunt

Kyle Hunt’s Golden Tickets

Melbourne entrepreneur and influencer Kyle Hunt has launched a real-world treasure hunt across Melbourne, Sydney and the Gold Coast, hiding 100 genuine, serial-numbered golden tickets across the three cities. The prize? $20,000 cash for the first person to find and verify three of them. The hunt went live August 12 with a launch video across Hunt’s social channels, challenging followers to work out where the tickets have been hidden and find them “before everyone else does.” New clues, hints and videos will be released throughout the week, giving participants more chances to narrow down the locations.
The concept draws directly from the philosophy behind Hunt’s business, HCPA. The biggest opportunities are usually hidden – the trick is knowing where to look. Now, he’s turned that idea into a physical challenge. The doors are out there. The tickets are behind them. You just have to find them. With 100 golden tickets hidden across three Australian cities and $20,000 on the line, Kyle Hunt is bringing the spirit of Willy Wonka’s golden ticket hunt to Australia. The real-world challenge invites everyday Australians to follow the clues, hunt down the tickets, and race to become the first person to collect three.

How It Works:

  • 100 genuine golden tickets have been hidden across Melbourne, Sydney and the Gold Coast.
  • Every ticket is individually serial-numbered and signed.
  • Fakes, copies and reproductions do not count.
  • The first person to find three genuine tickets and have them verified wins $20,000 cash.
  • There is one national winner – once three tickets have been successfully verified, the hunt is over.

Participants are encouraged to follow Hunt’s social channels, track the clues and share information with friends as they race to find three tickets before anyone else. Melbourne-based finders can bring their three tickets directly to Kyle Hunt’s office at Level 4, 80 Dorcas St, South Melbourne for verification. Finders elsewhere in Australia can email maddy@hcpa.com to arrange verification and redemption. Every ticket will be checked against a master list of official serial numbers before a winner is confirmed. Three genuine tickets. One winner. $20,000. The hunt will continue throughout the week, with new clues, hints and updates released via Kyle Hunt’s Instagram and social channels. Participants are encouraged to follow along, share clues, document their finds, and tag Hunt as the search unfolds across three Australian cities.
