So that you know, CatVideoFest has a limited season. CatVideoFest is running from 13 to 16 August inclusive, and every ticket sold raises money for cats in need. Since 2019, the project has raised over $1 million for shelters. Now, what better excuse do you need to watch 70 minutes of cat videos than to help raise money for cats in need? A lot of the featured videos are the kind you would expect to find when searching for cat videos on YouTube. There were a couple of videos featured that I had already seen come up on my feeds before. Of course, there were funny videos and even adorable videos, like one of a cat making shadow puppets. But what really surprised me was the Art section and the videos that looked as if they had series budgets for short videos.
