The HOYTS Group announced the appointment of Jodi Paton to the newly established role of Chief People and Transformation Officer (CPTO), effective immediately. This role will lead the next phase of The HOYTS Group’s evolution. As Chief People and Transformation Officer, Jodi will lead the business’ organisational design agenda, driving structural transformation and ensuring its people, resources and capabilities are aligned to support The HOYTS Group’s long-term strategic direction. She will also review the current operating model to identify opportunities to enhance productivity, efficiency and organisational effectiveness, facilitating better outcomes for the business and its people. HOYTS Group President and CEO, Damian Keogh, said the appointment reflects the organisation’s commitment to building a stronger, more agile business while ensuring people remain at the centre of its transformation.

“Jodi has built an exceptional people-first culture across The HOYTS Group and has consistently demonstrated the ability to lead meaningful organisational change,” Keogh commented “This new role reflects our commitment to ensuring every part of our business is designed to support our long-term strategy by building the right capabilities, improving the way we work and creating an environment where our people can continue to thrive. AI will play an important role in that journey, but our focus is on using it thoughtfully to enable our people, strengthen our business and help us work smarter. Jodi is the ideal leader to bring these elements together as we continue to evolve The HOYTS Group.”

Since joining The HOYTS Group in 2013, Jodi has played a pivotal role in fostering a high-performing, values-led culture. Through leading key initiatives that enhance employee engagement, she has strengthened leadership and evolved workplace practices across the business. Jodi has also championed reforms focused on gender-neutral parental leave, inclusive recruitment practices and initiatives, and contributed to a significant increase of female representation across the organisation, particularly in senior roles. In recognition of her leadership and commitment to building an inclusive, high-performing culture, Jodi was recently named one of B&T’s Best of the Best People Leaders. Regarding her appointment, Jodi said she is excited to lead the organisation into its next chapter.

“The HOYTS Group has always been built on great people, and this role is about continuing to create an organisation where our teams have the support and environment they need to succeed,” Paton commented “I’m looking forward to working with leaders across the business to build on our strengths, create new opportunities and ensure we continue driving the success of The HOYTS Group.”

In the coming months, Jodi will lead a program to develop a Group-wide Capability Framework that will serve as a roadmap for achieving more effective operations, strengthening adaptability to changing market conditions, and supporting sustainable growth over the next three to five years.
