THE CARD VAULT – Pokémon Card Swap Party

Hundreds of Pokémon fans and collectors are being invited to trade, rip, swap and win at a massive new interactive collector party launching in Blacktown this December — with more locations planned! Dust off those Pokémon binders, gather your rarest cards and get ready for a whole new kind of collector experience! On Saturday 12 December 2026, Blacktown, in the heart of Sydney’s west, will play host to THE CARD VAULT – Pokémon Card Swap Party, a high-energy, interactive event designed to bring Pokémon collectors, traders and enthusiasts together for an unforgettable day. Forget the traditional card swap meet. The Card Vault is turning card collecting into a party, combining the nostalgia of Pokémon with interactive challenges, mystery prizes, live entertainment and hundreds of collectors sharing their passion. With two massive three-hour sessions planned, the event will welcome Pokémon enthusiasts of all ages, from young collectors building their first binders to seasoned traders chasing elusive cards worth adding to their collections. TWO WIND MACHINES. ONE MASSIVE CARD STORM! One of the event’s headline attractions will be the Double Card Storm, featuring two wind machines where selected participants step inside a whirlwind of flying prize vouchers. VIP ticket holders will receive a guaranteed Card Storm experience, while other attendees will have opportunities to participate through selected event challenges and promotions.

HUNDREDS OF COLLECTORS. ONE COUNTDOWN. ONE MASSIVE RIP! In another event highlight, The Card Vault will bring everyone together for THE MEGA PACK RIP. At a designated time during each session, collectors will simultaneously tear open genuine Pokémon booster packs, creating a shared moment of anticipation as everyone discovers what they’ve pulled. Every collector ticket includes a genuine, factory-sealed Pokémon booster pack, meaning everyone can be part of the action. CAN YOU CRACK THE CARD VAULT? Collectors will also be challenged to solve a series of clues and puzzles to unlock the mysterious Card Vault, with a sealed Pokémon prize awaiting the successful challenger. And that’s not all. Each session will feature a Lucky Door Prize, with a sealed Pokémon box set up for grabs, along with collector trivia, trading challenges, rare card showcases and specialist vendors selling cards, collectibles and accessories. MORE THAN JUST A CARD SWAP.While the interactive attractions promise plenty of entertainment, the heart of The Card Vault remains the collector community. Attendees are encouraged to bring their binders, duplicates and favourite cards to swap, trade and connect with others who share their enthusiasm for Pokémon. From vintage classics to the latest releases, the event aims to create an inclusive environment where collectors of different ages and experience levels can come together. A NEW EXPERIENCE FROM AN ESTABLISHED SYDNEY EVENT ORGANISER The event is the latest concept from AMA Event Management, a Western Sydney-based event company operating since 2012, with extensive experience delivering markets, festivals, community celebrations and major public events throughout New South Wales. AMA Event Management Director Monique Annetts said the concept was developed to offer collectors something beyond the traditional trading-card market.

“Pokémon has such an incredible following, and it’s not just children. There are teenagers, adults and serious collectors who have been collecting for decades. We wanted to create an event that celebrates that community but adds something different. Somewhere people can bring their binders, meet fellow collectors, open packs together, take part in challenges and genuinely enjoy the experience.” Annetts commented “The simultaneous pack opening is going to be fantastic. Imagine hundreds of collectors counting down together, ripping open their packs and seeing what everyone discovers! And of course, we’ve added two wind machines, because why should the kids get all the fun?”.
