Doug and Carol travel to Milan, where they have to solve a series of murders committed by a masked agressor at an Italian Fertility Festival.

I know, I know it might not be the right way to approach a film series starting with the second movie. As you would expect missing the first film in a series, you run the risk of not knowing what is going on. It was a creatively interesting move by the filmmakers to recycle footage from the previous movie for callbacks, so that I did feel to lost while watching.When it comes to B movies i love to hate movies from The Asylum but when it comes to The Velocipastor 2 I loved it, Velocipastor 2 has this deliciously stupid unashamed vibe and I adored the moments in the third act that looked like that they were inspired by and probably could have been done by the average ‘Power Rangers’ episode. I know I throw rocks at The Asylum a lot (They can take it. I Think) but after watching a Zombie movie released by The Asylum I thought that the action sequences for Velocipastor 2 were kind of impressive. I thought it was an odd move by the filmmakers to use what looked like a spotlight during the fight sequence but as a whole the fight sequences were on the level of something you’d might expect from something like the series from the late 70’s Monkey.
Greg Cohan and Alyssa Kempinski were great together as Doug and Carol but for reasons I can’t exactly put my finger on I was reminded of The ‘many moods of Bargearse’ sequence from Bargearse. I also have to ask who the heck played Tomcat 2? They were brilliant!!
