Tom Holland is still spinning webs as Spider-Man: Brand New Day holds its position as the top film for a fourth week, bringing the movie’s total box office to $76.8M. Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey is still proving to be a fan favourite as it generated another $2.87M at the box office this weekend. It is no surprise that another horror film has soared into the charts this year, as Insidious: Out of the Further took third place this weekend, earning $1.16M on its opening weekend. The End of Oak Street came in at number four, taking home an additional $766k, whilst feel-good comedy film Spa Weekend, starring Leslie Mann and Aussie icon Isla Fisher, earned $691k on its opening weekend.  The top 10 movies together contributed to 88% of the total national box office gross for the weekend. The top genre of the weekend was action, with Spider-Man: Brand New Day and The Odyssey continuing their strong leads at the Australian box office.

5. Spa Weekend earned $691k on its opening weekend, with advance screenings, the movie now has a cumulative box office of $1.09M. 
6. Mutiny uncovered $541k and the #6 spot on its opening weekend. 
7. Tony cooked up $382k on its opening weekend, with advance screenings, the movie now has a box office total of $486k. 
8. Malayalam title, Bethlehem Kudumba Unit, earned $303k on its opening weekend. 
9. The continuation of the Harry Potter Marathon brewed $226k this weekend, the anniversary re-releases have now generated a total $583k at the box office. 
10. Rounding out the top 10, Kung Fu Soccer took home $204k on its opening weekend.
