Mooloolaba’s award-winning Fish House Steak & Grill is celebrating a major milestone, marking twelve months since it reimagined dining on the iconic Mooloolaba Spit, and the venue is inviting the community to help it celebrate in style. To mark the occasion, Fish House Steak & Grill will host an exclusive stand-up cocktail celebration on Friday 28 August, offering guests a night of indulgence, live entertainment and a menu of the past year’s most-loved signature dishes. The evening opens with a stand-up cocktail reception across the venue’s bar and outdoor spaces, featuring canapés, a glass of Moët & Chandon on arrival, and live entertainment. From 6:00 pm, guests will move into a three-course dinner running through to 8:30 pm, with a menu curated to showcase Fish House’s very best. Tickets are $239 per person, with limited spots available for what is shaping up to be one of Mooloolaba’s most sought-after events of the year.

Since opening in August 2025, Fish House has served up more than 9,000 steaks, 2,000 lobster rolls and 3,000 serves of tempura Mooloolaba prawns, alongside 300kg of locally caught Mooloolaba yellowfin tuna, a true reflection of the venue’s commitment to fresh, local produce. The past twelve months have also brought significant industry recognition. Fish House Steak & Grill was named the 2026 AGFG Best Seafood Restaurant on the Sunshine Coast Readers’ Choice Award, and was awarded a coveted Chef’s Hat by the Australian Good Food Guide, within the first four months of opening, recognising its culinary excellence and service quality. The achievements have not gone unnoticed within the local community.
