Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey dominated at HOYTS and the Australian box office during its opening weekend, where the epic film debuted at number one. The film drove in more than 587,000 fans to cinemas, where it grossed $13.4M nationally. Moana came in at number two over the weekend, earning $2.92M, which brings the movie’s total box office to $12.5M. At number three, Toy Story 5 continued to thrill fans of all ages, bringing in $2.83M in its fifth weekend. This brings its overall total to an impressive $42.4M. In fourth place was Minions & Monsters, which earned $2.17M, and rounding out the top five was The Invite, which took in $ 469 K.

2. Moana came in at number two, where it gained another $2.92M this weekend, bringing the movie’s total box office to $12.5M.
3. Toy Story 5 was in third place and earned $2.83M on its fifth weekend, taking the cumulative box office for this movie to an incredible $42.4M.
4. Minions & Monsters found its way into number four and brought home $2.17M over the weekend. The movie’s box office takings have now reached $21.2M. 
5. The Invite was at number five and welcomed $469k on its second weekend where the movie’s cumulative box office is now at $1.67M.
6. Taking the number six spot, Obsession gained another $405k which brings the movie’s total to $24.6M at the box office. 
7. Evil Dead Burn came in seventh place and generated $296k over the weekend, bringing the movie’s box office total to $1.3M.
8. Jackass: Best and Last landed at number eight and saw $252k in takings this weekend, where its box office total is now at $2.79M. 
9. Supergirl came in in at number nine where it brought in $169k over the weekend. It has now earned $5.86M at the box office. 
10. Rounding out the top 10, Hindi title, Dastaar, which earned $117k on its opening weekend.
