HOYTS has unveiled the future of cinema with the launch of HOYTS APEX at HOYTS Karrinyup, introducing the world’s largest LED cinema screen and setting a new standard for premium viewing experiences. Now open, Perth is home to this revolutionary cinema offering, delivering a more immersive and lifelike way to experience movies, bringing audiences closer to the story than ever before. At nearly 25 metres wide and powered by more than 24 million pixels, HOYTS APEX combines scale with precision. Its fully acoustically transparent LED display allows sound to pass directly through the screen, aligning perfectly with on-screen action to create a seamless, true-to-source audio-visual experience. Unlike traditional projection, HOYTS APEX uses direct-view LED technology to deliver significantly higher brightness, deeper blacks and exceptional contrast, resulting in more vivid, lifelike images across every scene.
