A North Korean general’s vendetta against a U.S. team of special ops soldiers who are on a mission to free Japanese political prisoners.

Getting a feature length film made certainly is a daunting task, I’d like to congratulate writer/director/editor John Lyde for getting that with his 2008 movie The Eleventh Hour. Now with The Eleventh Hour I’m not entirely sure what the greatest task Lyde managed to achieve was actually getting his movie made or successfully convincing studio executives that yes The Eleventh Hour was actually an Action movie and not a comedy. At best, this was an incompetently made showreel for stuntmen, that had plot holes large enough for the tarmac for a 4 lane expressway. The entire climax of the movie wasn’t earnt by the filmmakers. This was clearly some sort of vanity project for executive producer/lead actor Matthew Reese who gave the kind of performance that you would expect from a plank of wood. Hell, John Cena when he was cast in the 2006 movie The Marine was capable of more than Reese. The eleventh hour offers little to no emotional investment in a way where you won’t find either the heroes or the villains but the fact that the movie is finally over.
