A woman returns from combat and befriends a family in NYC. A gang of thieves plot to take the family’s valuables, and she is all that stands between them and their lives.

When it comes to leading an Action movie I believe that Ruby Rose is a poor choice as a lead, though granted she has given a few decent performances in minor roles in major movies like John Wick: Chapter 2. However, any doubts about Rose’s ability with the action genre from Rose’s time as Kate Kane on Batwoman. Rose also drew the short straw with the military fatigues she was given to wear making her look about 20 years younger and in her first week of boot camp and not a U.S. Marine Gunnery Sergeant. With Rose and her lack of ability with the genre the job of carrying the movie fell on the shoulders of Jean Reno as Victor Dubois in this lesser die hard clone, Reno doesn’t have the charm of Alan Rickman. It’s fun to play my favourite game when watching movies spot the Australian with The Doorman with Louis Mandylor popping up as one of the lesser villains. The less than impressive CGI and forgettable story left me probably second guessing the name Ryuhei Kitamura.
