Cat Shit One Kickstarter Campaign Launched for Packy & Botasky Figures

Editor’s Note, When I originally reviewed this last year in October, I watched Cat Shit One multiple times over a couple of days after stumbling across it on You Tube and iTunes. The only reason why I am mentioning this Kickstart campaign is because of those multiple viewings. Cat Shit One Review.

Junya Okabe has announced that a Kickstarter project had been launched on March 2020 to crowdfund the rerelease of the character figures from CAT SHIT ONE – THE ANIMATED SERIES –, a military action movie released in 2010.
CAT SHIT ONE, is a manga by Motofumi Kobayashi, a renowned military manga artist. The shocking imagery of fluffy bunnies clad in full military gears and engaged in combats, combined with the meticulous depiction of the battle scenes, became a hot topic. ANIMA Inc. took charge of the CG art. Kazuya Sasahara, one of Japan’s top CG creators, directed the film. Producer Junya Okabe is also the director of the wildly popular ZVP (Zatoichi vs Predator), a short movie currently available on YouTube.
Junya Okabe explained that with the re-release of the figures through the crowdfunding project, the re-release of Cat Shit One region-free on Blu-ray & DVD (including the making film of CAT SHIT ONE; 75 minutes in total).
