DC Universe Available on Amazon Fire TV

DC Universe is now available on Amazon Fire TV, bringing its DC Super Hero lineup of original live-action and animated series, classic TV shows and films, epic original animated movies, digital comic books, breaking news and much more to Fire TV users. The addition of Fire TV to the current roster of available platforms gives DC fans one more option to access exclusive content and experiences not available anywhere else. DC Universe is now available for $7.99 per month or $74.99 annually (plus taxes, where applicable) on the Fire TV family of devices and can be accessed instantly from the Fire TV Appstore.
“Giving the tens of millions of Amazon Fire TV users in the US the ability to view DC Universe’s highly acclaimed first original series ‘Titans,’ and all of the amazing library shows and movies available on DC Universe, is a win for DC fans and Fire TV users alike,” Sam Ades, senior vice president and general manager, DC Digital Services commented. “DC Universe offers fans the opportunity to explore the iconic characters, series and movies from DC and we are excited to bring it to Fire TV users, not to mention digital comic books, a daily news show and a world of content made for the advanced features and voice functionality that Fire TV devices are known for.”
Ades explained that acclaimed original series “Titans” season 1 finale will be released on Dec. 21, and a new DC Universe content line-up kicks off in December and January, perfect for binge-watching over the holiday season. Among the fan favorites are additions “Green Lantern: The Animated Series,” one of the most requested series on the platform, available on Jan. 1, as well as a binge-worthy selection of Batman content including the live-action features “Batman” (1989), “Batman Returns,” “Batman Forever” and “Batman & Robin.” Upcoming exclusive series include “Young Justice: Outsiders” debuting Jan. 4, plus “Doom Patrol,” “Swamp Thing,” “Stargirl and Harley Quinn” coming in 2019.
