Minister Papalia explained that More than 1,200 competitors and about 1,300 visitors from about 23 countries are expected to visit Perth for the event, making a significant contribution of about $2.4 million to WA’s economy. The 2018 championships are sanctioned by the World Flying Disc Federation and managed by the Australian Flying Disc Association.

The event will be held on January 7-13, 2018 at the UWA Sports Club in Mount Claremont.
