Entries are open for Live N Local 2017

The City of Port Phillip is calling on bands and musicians to go “Live N Local” by entering the 2017 celebration of live music. Mayor Bernadene Voss said the Live N Local program plays an important role in providing a platform for local bands and musicians to showcase their talent to a large audience.
“The City of Port Phillip is passionate about supporting local music and venues through a jam packed week of entertainment in August. The hugely popular free program, also supported by the St Kilda Festival, will offer musicians across all genres a chance to join in the festivities and showcase their talent, and we encourage you to apply,” Cr Voss commented.
Featuring the best local talent within the City of Port Phillip from 19-26 August, the popular program celebrates live music and local talent while promoting both indoor and outdoor venues and spaces in the municipality. Live N Local also gives artists a fantastic opportunity for growth through free artist development forums and workshops with key industry guests.

To be eligible to enter Live N Local, at least one of the applicants must live, work or study within the City of Port Phillip. Applications close Wednesday 31 May 2017. For More Information
