The legendary Power Rangers must stop the evil space pirate Divatox from releasing the powerful Maligore from his volcanic imprisonment on the island of Muranthias, where only the kindly wizard Lerigot has the key to release him. The hope of victory lies in the Ranger’s incredible new Turbo powers and powerful Turbo Zords.

For those of you who might be interested Turbo a Power Rangers Movie was first released in the USA on March 28th, 1997.

I think that I have found a contender for the dumbest movie that I have watched in 2017. This is because Divatox portrayed by Hilary Shepard comes across as being one of the lamest movie villains I have come across. I know this is a kids’ movie and I should just let it go but this plot point was the biggest source of the “Why am I watching this?” thoughts that entered my mind while watching this.
I will concede that there were fewer groan worthy lines then with the Power Rangers movie released in 1995. Just like with the first movie the visual effects don’t hold up (but that’s to be expected) and there are more than a few moments that require older viewers to switch of their brains to protect their sanity.
