Quickflix is re-launching

Quickflix is re-launching its streaming and DVD services this week with an emphasis on bringing the newest Hollywood movies and exclusive entertainment to movie fans in Australia. Quickflix Access and Quickflix Red Carpet programs are launching in sync with Quickflix’s release of mega-blockbuster, “Finding Dory,” which the service claims is available many months before its streaming competitors, namely Netflix. Quickflix will also run contests to members as a way to promote its services with exclusive chances to win trips to red carpet events in Hollywood.
“We’re excited about Quickflix Red Carpet, which will be Australia’s best, and most widely accessible destination to get the absolutely newest Hollywood releases every single week at an incredible value,” stated Erik Pence, managing partner for Karma Media Holdings, operating Quickflix under a Deed of Company Arrangement. Pence continued, “Quickflix members do not have to wait months and months to get access to the newest movies and can watch them any way they want: on DVD or through digital streaming. Quickflix has already taken in many of the biggest Hollywood ‘tentpole’ titles from major studios such as Disney and Lionsgate, and our service doesn’t limit the customers’ experience based on what device they have… this is a big part of building a whole new Quickflix.”
Pence explained that Quickflix Access is free for anyone to sign up who wishes to participate on a “pay-as-you-go” basis. Quickflix Red Carpet users get all the benefits of Quickflix Access along with pre-paid discount credits to watch several new releases every month and have access to “Bonus” movies and TV programs from Quickflix’s still-ongoing subscription-based catalogue. All members may choose between DVDs, digital streaming, or a combination of both. Current customers will be able to keep their existing plan or adopt the new plans at any time.
