Filming Date Announced for Living Space

livingspaceCollege sweethearts Brad and Ashley venture into the heartland of Germany. Their romantic holiday takes a sinister turn when encountering a German SS Officer, thrusting them into a psychological vortex revealing there is not always life in a ‘Living Space’.

Tru Dot Films today announced that principal photography on the feature film, Living Space will commence on Wednesday, November 16. Created by Writer & Director Steven Spiel, the “horrifically horrifying psychological horror” is set to commence filming in Geelong, Victoria through to mid-December 2016. Living Space will be filmed entirely on location in the state of Victoria, creating jobs for approximately 80 cast, crew and extras. The film has been privately-funded by multiple Australian investors, each of whom believe the project has international appeal.
“I am really thrilled to have such an amazing world class team around me, and to have received such positive responses to my script.” Spiel commented “I have also handpicked an extremely talented cast and deliberately placed them into roles far removed from what they’re used to, and what their fans have come to expect from them.”
Living Space has cast flying in from Los Angeles USA, New South Wales, Queensland and stars some of Australia’s biggest talent including Georgia Chara (Wentworth, Home & Away) Leigh Scully (Home & Away, Catching Milat), Andy McPhee (Saving Mr Banks, Sons of Anarchy, Wolf Creek) Jolene Anderson (All Saints, Rush) and Emma Leonard (800 Words, Home & Away). The movie has also attracted some of the world’s best creative crew, including cinematographer Branco Grabovac (Witches), special effects artist Steven Boyle (The Hobbit, Star Wars, Daybreakers, The Matrix). production designer Das Patterson (The Dressmaker, The Legend of Ben Hall) and costume designer Chloe Greaves (Cop Hard).
