Palace Cinemas confirms that comedic legend, John Cleese, will appear at Palace Cinemas Norton Street in Leichhardt for a one-night-only, intimate ‘in conversation’ event on the evening of Friday, August 12. A spokesperson for Palace Cinemas said that Cleese’s influence has stretched across generations; his sharp, irreverent eye and unique approach to physical comedy are now written into the DNA of comedy itself.
Following screenings of two episodes of Fawlty Towers – audience favourites ‘Basil the Rat’ and ‘The Germans’, Cleese will join a host on stage to discuss life, comedy, silliness, and absurdity, as well as the world premiere tour of the new stage show, Fawlty Towers Live.
