A former CIA operative is kidnapped by a group of terrorists. When his son learns there is no plan for his father to be saved, he launches his own rescue operation.

Even though I was unfamiliar with director Steven C Miller’s work on the face of it Extraction looked to be a pretty solid action movie with the casting of Bruce Willis, Kelan Lutz and Gina Carino. Lutz really does seem to be cementing himself as a solid choice as a leading action star. However, with a running time just ninety minutes I could not help but feel that the director Miller ran into some pacing problems if you take into consideration that the crisis they were trying to avert supposedly took place over twenty-four hours a little less time should have been devoted to the opening act of the movie.
