After the earth-shattering revelations of Insurgent, Tris must escape with Four beyond the wall that encircles Chicago, to finally discover the shocking truth of the world around them.

When thinking about the relationship between the filmmakers of these movies and their target demographic the phrase “like shooting fish in a barrel” seems to come to mind in the sense that very little of what I have to say would dissuade them from seeing this, so if do be sure to

I suppose the only positive take away from this movie was the message that social groups are bad but not if you choose to put yourself into one. Even with a positive message the filmmakers really seemed to be very lazy (with the old factions being replaced by new factions and everybody seemingly falling into the same old shit after the events of the last two movies) and there seemed to be no inspired performances and I thought that job prerequisite for the likes of Theo James and Shailene Woodley. I could have sworn that they stole plot points from the maze runner film franchise which is understandable considering that writer Noah Oppenheim worked on both projects but the thing is Allegiant really seemed to suffer because of it and came across as the lazy person’s Maze Runner and the concept of somebody being genetically pure or damaged without any real explanation as to why is really half-arsed on the Oppenheim. Now for this one I know I might be nitpicking but the level of dental care in these post-apocalyptic young adult movies seems to be surprisingly good to the point of the porcelain veneers of most of the actors seemed to be a little out of place.

My best advice if you really have to see this one save yourself some money and wait for the DVD release.
