Score 3/6

Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’ most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. With Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.

Right off the bat I’ll say it Batman v Superman is worth watching despite its problems and I think that it might not of lived up all the hype (but don’t worry there are not many of them to worry about, so there is no need to break out the buckets of sand so that we can add this movie to the Ostrich list. For those of you who might not know the Ostrich list consists of franchise movies that the fans refuse to talk about). Ben Affleck gave a great performance he is a high enough a calibre of actor that fans will easily be able to get behind him as the current cinematic incarnation of Batman like it seems that they have with Henry Cavil as Superman. It was also good to see that even though I’m an avid reader of the books but watch the DC animated movies when I can I was able to see where the inspiration for different parts of the storylines came from.
The big problem with BVS is that it was not treated with enough respect considering that The Justice League is DC’s answer to The Avengers. DC should have had one movie to break Affleck in as Batman (perhaps a story featuring Jason Todd?) and the release date for the Wonder Woman movie which is currently scheduled for June of 2017 should have been brought forward to be released before Dawn of Justice.
