A group of Marines must protect a US Embassy in the Middle East when it suddenly comes under attack from enemy forces.

Okay, it’s never the best of signs when Scott Adkins is given a starring role in a movie and the only good thing about Jarhead 3 was the casting of Dennis Haybert, unfortunately he only had a handful of scenes in the movie. For those of you who are completely unaware the first Jarhead movie which was adapted from a is a 2003 Gulf War memoir by author and former U.S. Marine Anthony Swofford and the movie was released in 2005 staring Jake Gyllenhaal, Jamie Foxx while the second movie was released in 2014 starring Cole Hauser. None of the two sequels contain any references to Anthony Swofford, it should also be noted that according to director William Kaufman The Siege is supposed to be a reboot of the Jarhead ‘franchise’.
A small warning things are about to get a little mean. After watching the movie I seriously have to question the intelligence of the writers, William Kaufman, the Production Executives and myself (for actually watching the movie I’d like to blame my decision on a deep-seated need to round complete a film franchise). Now this may indeed be a reboot of the Jarhead ‘franchise’ but this is a faux franchise and the two sequels are faux sequels.
Mr. William Kaufman I would like to bring two things to your attention firstly the Woody Allen quote from Annie Hall “Those who can’t do, teach. And those who can’t teach, teach gym.” And secondly if you don’t desire to readjust your career path and teach a physical education class there is always retirement. Who knows you might enjoy not working for living considering that judging by the movie that you delivered it seems that you did no work during its production.
