Coburg Drive-in goes to the dogs

Zootopia[1]On Sunday, March 13 the whole family (even the four legged family members) will be able to experience the launch of Coburg Cinemas Doggy Drive-In with an advance screening of Disney’s Zootopia to boot.
“We are thrilled to be working together with RSPCA to offer our customers and their beloved pets this unique experience at the drive-in.” Village Cinemas Australia General Manager – Sales & Marketing, Mohit Bhargava commented.
“We are excited to be part of this special event with Village Cinemas. The experience is like no other, giving Victorian dog owners the chance to take their furry friends to the cinema instead of leaving them at home.” Liz Walker, Animal Care Manager at RSPCA.
Mr. Bhargava explained that the event will give guests more than just a regular day at the Drive-In with plenty of activities to keep every family member occupied. There will be competitions for the pups as well as raffles and door prizes, while the RSPCA will provide educational services including vets, a dog groomer and information on pet adoption. The Coburg Drive-In also invites movie-goers to bring along their pups to any session, any time, 365 days of the year.
