For those of you might be wondering ‘Tracer’ is the English translation of ‘Traceur’ which is the French name for a practitioner of parkour.
This is the first movie that I have watched that was directed by Daniel Benmayor and although he might be very technically gifted director which was very apparent by the overall look of the entire movie, personally I won’t be hurrying to watch another one of his movies anytime soon. Because despite what seemed to be the over excessive attention to the detail over ever single shot in the movie there seemed to have been almost no attention given to the plot of the movie which made watching Tracers painful and a chore, I can only hope that if the same amount of attention that was taken in shooting this movie was taken when the screenplay was written then Daniel Benmayor might of actually given the world a decent movie. All the fantastic shots in the world and amazing stunt sequences where not enough to overcome the pain of watching this movie.
