Crunch Calhoun, a semi-reformed art thief, agrees to get his old gang back together to pull off one last heist.

I’m not really sure what attracted me to this one, probably the fact that it was a heist movie had something to do with it that and it was one only really interesting movies released last week. This is a good effort by director Jonathan Sobol for those of you are interested The Art of the steal Sobol’s is second feature length movie. This has an amazing ensemble cast with the likes of Kurt Russell, Matt Dillon and Terence Stamp. This is not as slick as something like Ocean’s 11, The Art of the Steal comes across as more of a working class heist movie.
The only real problem that I had with The Art of the Steal was with its pace, with a running time of under 100 minutes it really need to crack on with things and not get bogged with little things like character development.
