The origin story of the mythical Greek hero. Betrayed by his stepfather, the King, and exiled and sold into slavery because of a forbidden love, Hercules must use his formidable powers to fight his way back to his rightful kingdom.

I think the most telling factor about the quality of this movie is that Keelan Lutz’s name was not above the title on the DVD cover and that Lutz’s star power was less important than notes on the producers’ filmography. I don’t think that I can remember if this received a cinema run in Australia but it should be noted that The Legend of Hercules is the type of movie that needs the largest screen possible for the best viewing experience. The action sequence is probably the only real reason why you should even bother watching this. There are some very creative action sequence though I thought that the use of a slow motion effect during the fight sequences seemed to be a little self-indulgent on the part of the filmmakers.
Lutz has proven himself as an action star, though with considering that he gave a wooden performance at this point in time I doubt that he would be known for much then his role in the Twilight movies.
