Director Frank Harper
Starring Charles Dance, Sean Pertwee, Vincent Regan

Score 3.5/6

Follows two infamous London gangsters, Mickey Mannock and Ray Collishaw. Both men are top of the food chain when their world is turned upside down as they lose a shipment of the Russian Mafia’s cocaine.

First order of business for those of you who go looking for this one at your friendly local DVD store this is also known as St George’s Day, personally I prefer this title to the other title Berlin Job because this title conjures images of the 2003 movie The Italian Job. This was Writer/Director Frank Harper’s first time in the director’s chair and for the most part he actually delivered a fairly good movie with a nice twist at the end, and a decent cast. I also kind of liked Dexter Fletcher’s performance.
I might have mentioned it in past reviews but I kind of like movies when there are a few Interior monologues, I don’t think that I can really put my finger on it, I guess I’ve always thought that it was a nice touch. But yes there is such a thing as to much of a good thing and I felt Harper might have over done it with the Interior monologues.
