The adventures of Gustave H, a legendary concierge at a famous European hotel between the wars, and Zero Moustafa, the lobby boy who becomes his most trusted friend.

I’m glad that I took the time to go see The Grand Budapest Hotel, though I did have to go to one of the more upscale cinema and I would have to agree with my mother and say good company always changes the movie going experience. Still with my mother in mind it should be noted that those of you out there who go and see Grand Budapest Hotel because they liked Best Exotic Marigold hotel will probably like Marigold hotel more. But don’t let that stop you from watching Grand Budapest Hotel.
I’ll admit it this the first movie that I have watched that was directed by Wes Anderson, I loved what he did with this movie. I’m going to have to check out some of his movies the next time I go to the friendly neighbourhood DVD store.
I was struck by the hectic craziness of the plot and no matter how crazy things got it did not cross into absurdity but managing to briefly cross into the realms of the live action cartoon. Who knew that Wes Anderson knew the Yugioh abridged series joke about a good 4Kids fight sequence, being that you can be as violent as you want, so long as nobody sees what you’re doing.
Ralph Fiennes gave an amazing performance as you would expect from such a versatile actor. Though yes there was Ralph, I was actually very impressed by Tony Revolori’s and at age 18 could be somebody to keep an eye on.
