An air marshal springs into action during a transatlantic flight after receiving a series of text messages that put his fellow passengers at risk unless the airline transfers $150 million into an off-shore account.

Ok, another movie where Liam Neeson has a set of skills, possibly a slightly different set of skills from the Taken movies. With that being said next time maybe I should watch Liam Neeson in a drama. All right now on to the rest of the review.
I would not consider myself overly familiar Jaume Collet-Serra’s work considering I have only watched two other movies that he has directed. So before I make my mind up about his abilities as a director and invoke the rule of five and wait till I have watched five movies that he has directed before I make mind up. If you think about it, it was a little limiting putting a murder mystery in the air, if you take into the consideration the highly confined space of an airplane, considering that it would be even harder for the killer to kill somebody without drawing attention to themselves.
It was interesting how the filmmakers used a floating graphics for the text messages that Nesson’s character receives throughout the movie. The movie also posed an interesting question of the idea of perception in an era where mobile phones have more computing power then computers from twenty years ago.
Julianne Moore gave a good performance, though when the credits rolled I got the impression that she might have been cast in the wrong role, personally I would have liked to have seen her cast in the role of Nancy.
