Former race-car driver Brent Magna is pitted against the clock when his wife is kidnapped by a mysterious villain. He commandeers a young woman’s car and takes her on a high-speed race against time.

For those of you who are interested this was originally going to be a remake of 1972 Steve McQueen movie The Getaway, however the filmmakers ended up deciding to make an original story. Getaway was not an overly impressive movie at best it’s the kind of thing that you play in the background while you are doing other chores. Though camera angles the filmmakers got inside the Shelby GT500 Super Snake where kind of cool (Though trashing a muscle car even if the car is made up to look like a muscle car is never a good thing).
It was good to see Selena Gomez in an action movie, I really would not be surprised to see her in a few more action movies in the next couple of years, considering that she was only in about half of spring breakers. Despite how great of an actor he really is, Join Voight really did not come across as an overly threatening criminal mastermind.
