Two teens battle their way through a religious apocalypse on a mission to defeat the Antichrist.

I seem to remember that in 1999 the release of Dogma was protested by such groups as the Catholic League. Considering the plot of this movie I was kind of surprised that the release of Rapture-Palooza was not met with a similar protest, if not on a smaller scale. Now considering that the release of this “movie” was not met with any protests of any kind I can only speculate that the Catholic League where even aware of Rapture-Palooza’s release or if they were that they decided it was not even worthy of their time.
There was an interesting enough concept behind this “movie” with people having to continue living on earth after the Rapture, it’s just that something was lost in the execution of the film making process. The biggest mistake that was made in this “movie” was the casting of comedian Craig Robinson in the role of the Anti-Christ. Granted this was supposed to be a comedy but when it comes to playing the Anti-Christ, the most evil being in known existence you need an actor who exudes an air intimidation or at the very least was slightly scary. At best Craig Robinson came across as being kind of irritating.
