Summoned to Japan by an old acquaintance, Wolverine becomes embroiled in a conflict that forces him to confront his own demons.

I’m not sure if I was entirely impressed by this one and this is the sixth time that Jackman has played Wolverine. I guess the reason whys is because I checked out of the franchise back in 2009 with the less than impressive X-Men Origins: Wolverine. The Wolverine seemed to be one of those movies that looks cooler in the trailer, granted the fight scene on top of the Bullet train was pretty cool, but not enough was done to cause my jaw to hit the floor, something needs to be done that is seriously impressive that will help keep the franchise going past the point should Jackman decided to hang up claws. I get that this was supposed to be a darker moodier character driven piece, but Robert Downey Jr. did things better in Iron Man 3.
That being said I was rather impressed with Rila Fukushima’s performance as Yukio, this was her first feature-length movie.
