A professional diver tutor returns to deep waters after 9 years, following an almost fatal encounter with a great white shark. The nightmare from the deep is still lurking – more carnivorous and hungry than ever.

Initially I thought that Dark Tide had some promise considering that it stared Halle Berry, and despite my dislike for director John Stockwell’s work, he was more than capable to direct Dark Tide considering that he previously directed Blue Crush and Into the Blue.
However, despite this promise and the brilliant underwater footage of sharks, ultimately its slow plot, less than impressive plot and unsympathetic characters hamstrung Dark Tide.
