Unemployed and newly-divorced Stephanie Plum lands a job at her cousin s bail-bond business, where her first assignment puts her on the trail of a wanted local cop from her romantic past

Okay, for those of you out there keeping track One for the Money is another entry in the gargantuan list of movies that can trace their source material to that of a novel. Though considering my mum is a fan of Janet Evanovich’s Stephanie Plum series so I had a feeling that movie was worth watching and was going to be good fun. I suppose you could also describe One for Money as a ‘Mum Movie’.
For most filmmakers it would have been a piece of cake to take this movie in a complete 180 degree turn from its almost light hearted feel, considering that where dealing with the world of bounty hunters and police officers.
I just loved Katherine Heigl as Stephanie Plum. There was also a sense of playfulness as most of the actors: Heigl, Jason O’Mara, Daniel Sunjata, and Debra Monk had all appeared on Grey’s Anatomy.
