A team of explorers discover a clue to the origins of mankind on Earth, leading them on a journey to the darkest corners of the universe. There, they must fight a terrifying battle to save the future of the human race.

It was so great to see that Ridley Scott is returning to the dance, directing another science fiction movie in Prometheus. It is everything that you would expect from a movie directed by Ridley Scott. However, the visual aesthetics of Prometheus was not enough to save it from some questionable acting and a plot that was tripped up by the hurdle of the final act.
Swedish actress Noomi Rapace who was cast in a pivotal role for the entire movie did not come across as having the necessary of will and on screen presence. Instead, Rapace’s portrayal of Elizabeth Shaw seemed to come across as more annoying than anything else. We only have to hope that should there be any sequels for Prometheus that character of Elizabeth Shaw will be regarded as the Jar-Jar Binks of the Aliens universe.
