At a new high school a Jake Tyler is lured into an underground fight club. After a vicious beating at the hands of thug Ryan McCarthy, Tyler is mentored by a veteran fighter.

Never Back Down this pitifully lame attempt to repackage the Karate Kid 00’s failed as a movie due to Sean Faris and Cam Gigandent inability to act, though it should be noted that Sean Faris should be considered for future roles that require him to give an intense steely stare. It also should be noted that Never back down failed in its attempt to do for Mixed Martial Arts did what Casino Royale did with Texas No Limit Hold’em poker.
Never Back Down may be a good philosophy for life however, if your after a good martial arts fix i strongly recomend that you look elsewhere.
