Life for serial womanizer Tom is good until his best friend Hannah goes overseas for a six week business trip and he realizes how empty his life is without her. Matters are made even worse when she returns and he learns that she is engaged to a wealthy Scotsman and plans to move to Scotland. He reluctantly agrees to be her maid of honor in an attempt to stop the wedding.

Made of Honor fails to cut the mustard, Patrick Dempsey fails to bring anything to the table as a leading man and to be truthful Julia Roberts did better with a similar role in the remarkably similar My Best Friend’s Wedding. Towards the Made of Honor was painfully predictable to watch and I will leave you with this advice save yourself some money and hire My Best Friend’s Wedding from your local video store instead.
