A futuristic action thriller where a team of people work to prevent a disaster threatening the future of the human race.

Wow! If you have not yet found the time to watch this movie, you should. Even if you do not like these types of movies, I highly recommend it. Doomsday is everything you want and more in an end of days epic. It slams its foot down on the accelerator pedal and does not let up. In a few of my previous reviews, I have been ridiculing movies that have failed in their efforts when they have taken elements from other movies. Doomsday succeeds where all of those movies have failed.
