The story of Steve Jobs’ ascension from college dropout into one of the most revered creative entrepreneurs of the 20th century.

I’m conflicted about this one, I maybe a film geek instead of a computer nerd so I am not really familiar with the history behind the foundation of Apple Inc, but I can’t help but question how much of the history the filmmakers got right, considering that as a film geek I’m aware of the fact that Ashton Kutcher was not the first person to portray Jobs on film. Though Kutcher gave an ok performance as Jobs, Kuthcer’s casting should have been seriously reconsidered, personally I have seen him as little more than a romantic lead, I suppose the good thing to come of his performance is that this role is that he is willing to stretch himself past preconceived notions that the public may have of him. Jobs was first portrayed on film in 1999 by Noah Wyle in Pirates of Silicon Valley. So like always when watching a biography you have to wonder if you were watching a true bio pic or a bio pic where events or people where melded together for the sake of cinematic timing.
I just hope that all possible care is taken by the film makers while making Jobs and any future movie about Jobs’ life because High School students are going to be using these movies as material for project work.
