In a former Soviet Republic, the President is oppressing the people and with help from a former Bosnian General who’s a sadist, he is extremely hated. An American reporter goes there to catch the atrocities on film but is caught. So America sends a Special Forces unit to try and rescue her.

I really would not consider myself a fan of director Isaac Florentine’s work especially after watching Special Forces which he made back in 2003. Even though Special Forces had that bad 90’s television action series that I’ll admit that I enjoy, this was a little to clichéd for my taste. The acting was flat and suggested that there was almost no rehearsal time for the actors or for that matter a simple read through of the script. Scott Adkins is a solid ‘B’ grade action star with a great on screen presence though his acting was the worst considering that when he was portraying a British spy an accent he would be perfectly capable of doing, flashes he had flashes of what sounded like an Australian accent .
