The Fairy-Tale Nightmare Ever After Makes it’s International Digital Debut

A star-studded cast of horror and genre legends is coming to screens worldwide as Ever After, the horror feature directed and produced by Laszlo Illes, makes its international digital debut on October 27, 2026. Following its Los Angeles premiere at the Harmony Gold Theater and limited U.S. theatrical release in September, Ever After is set to reach audiences across more than 50 countries and territories through major digital platforms, including Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV (iTunes), and Google Play/YouTube Movies & TV, with availability varying by region. I’m told that Ever After is available digitally in Australia and New Zealand on Apple TV (iTunes), Google Play, and Amazon.

Bringing together an extraordinary lineup of familiar faces from horror and cult cinema, the film stars Mark Sheppard (Supernatural, Battlestar Galactica), Bonnie Aarons (The Nun, The Conjuring 2), Michael Berryman (The Hills Have Eyes), Kane Hodder (Friday the 13th franchise), and Malcolm McDowell (A Clockwork Orange, Halloween). With a cast spanning some of the most recognizable horror franchises and cult classics of the past five decades, Ever After brings together performers whose unforgettable characters have left a lasting mark on generations of genre fans.

What begins as a celebration at a secluded forest lodge quickly descends into a nightmare when a group of girlfriends discovers that the surrounding woods are home to a twisted collection of bloodthirsty killers who believe themselves to be characters from classic fairy tales. As fantasy collides with brutal reality, their getaway becomes a terrifying fight for survival. The film combines the familiar imagery of classic fairy tales with the darker conventions of contemporary horror, turning childhood fantasy into a deadly nightmare.

  • The upcoming digital release marks the next chapter in the film’s international journey, following theatrical engagements in the United States and Latin America.
